Army UAV crashes in Nowshera, COI ordered

An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) of the Indian army, which was on a training sortie, crashed near  the line of control in Nowshera area of Rajouri district on Monday. According to official sources, the UAV crashed near Rajal village of Nowshera around 1.45 p.m. The Indian army has ordered a Court of Inquiry to inquire in to the circumstances leading to the crash of the UAV in thickly populated area. According to Ministry of Defence Spokesman in Jammu,” the UAV was on a training sortie when it suddenly developed some technical snag and crashed in Rajal village of Nowshera. The Defence Spokesman also clarified that no loss of life or civilian property was reported after the crash in the village. …
