Despite creating hype and raising the pitch over its anti corruption crusade Aam Admi Party (AAP) nominee from Jammu saturday failed to even file his nomination papers in the office of Returning Officer. As per official sources present inside the office of the Returning officer the retired state govt employee, Harbans Lal Bhagat, who had reached office of the Returning Officer around 2.25 p.m was asked to submit his papers before the returning officers but he avoided it on one pretext or the other. Retired BDO is AAP candidate from Jammu-Poonch LS Seat


Harbans Lal Bhagat, a retired govt servant with a small stint in the field of active politics was on wednesday named as AAM ADMI PARTY(AAP) candidate on the Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha seat. Not known in the political circles soon after the AAP cleared his name and posted the list on the website frantic calls were made by the journalists here in Jammu to know the credentials of AAP candidate. According to official sources, Harbans Lal Bhagat is a resident of Kot Bhalwal area and retired as BDO more than two years ago. After his retirement he took a plunge in the state politics and joined Awami National Conference and later PDP before joining the AAP.
