Fearing back lash from polling staff in the wake of killing of a school teacher on election duty in Shopian district on Thursday Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has urged the  Election Commission of India to reassure elaborate security to them and plug the gaps, if any. BJP today hit back at Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his dig at the party, saying he should concentrate on providing good governance in his state where even elected representatives are not “safe”.
