Govt. takes minority community for a ride, claims Taj brokered peace deal between both the communities

The members of the minority community were taken for a ride by the All Party delegation dispatched to Kishtwar by the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to broker a peace deal in the wake of violence on August 9. Without building any consensus on the compromise formula the all party delegation sans representatives of BJP and Panthers Party went ahead and announced that the peace deal has been clinched during the joint meeting of the members belonging to both the communities. Minority community in Kishtwar demand CBI probe in Kishtwar violence, shifting of police officers

The members of the minority community under the banner of Sanatan Dharam Sabha Monday once again demanded thorough CBI probe in to incidents preceding the Kishtwar violence on August 9. The members raised their demand before the high level all party delegation which arrived Kishtwar to cool down the tempers of the angry residents. Chhari Mubarak left ‪Jammu‬ today for Chinote temple in ‪Bhaderwah.Tomorrow, the devotees will leave Bhaderwah for ‪‎Kishtwar‬, from where Chari Mubarak will leave for Machail where devotees will perform darshan. Union Home Secretary Anil Goswami Friday contradicted Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram claiming that till date he has not received any report  which has blamed  Bajrang Dal for inciting violence in Kishtwar in which three people were killed and over 30 others were injured. Omar orders judicial enquiry into Kishtwar Violence

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said the state government has decided to order a judicial inquiry into the communal clashes in Kishtwar district that left two persons dead and 20 others injured. “In order to establish the truth behind the Kishtwar violence and what followed, the State Government has decided to order a Judicial inquiry,” Omar tweeted. BJP extends Jammu Bandh call for another 48 hours, demands sacking of MoS Home Kichloo

BJP has given a call to extend the Jammu bandh by next 48 hours demanding sacking of J&K MoS Home Sajjad Kichloo. The party also demanded compensation of Rs. 10 lakh each to the family of those killed, full compensation for the loss of properties, suspension of DIG Doda Range and SP Doda, registration of FIRs against the minister and both police officials under Section 302.
