Omar Abdullah is in the habit of extending greetings to his followers and general public on the eve of major festivals and important occasions.
Seems Omar forgot to greet his followers on Navratras?
Generally, the state Information department releases a message and more often Omar himself extend greetings on the social networking site as well wishing long list of followers on important occasions and festivals.
Even after the passage of first Navratra the Chief Minister is yet to extend Navratra greetings to the people of the state.
On Friday, barring state Governor NN Vohra no other leader especially senior ministers extended Navratra greetings to the people of the state by issuing a statement through the state Information department. Ironically, the senior ministers never miss an opportunity to extend EID greetings to the people of the state.
Interestingly, it is more than one month Chief Minister has used the platform of the micro blogging site to interact with his followers. His last post was dated September 3, 2013.
Before that he had extended EID Greetings to his followers on August 8 and July 10,2013. Omar had even paid obeisance in the cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi after assuming power along with his close aide DS Rana.
Last year also Omar had extended EID greetings to his followers on the social networking site on August 19 and October 26,2012. Omar had also extended Diwali greetings to his followers on November 12, 2012 but this year it appears over burdened Omar Abdullah is yet to find enough time to wish his followers and people of the state HAPPY NAVRATRAS.
