More than two weeks have passed when PHE, Irrigation and Flood control Minister Sham Lal Sharma claimed to have submitted his resignation to PCC Chief Prof Saif Ud Din Soz in protest against the delay caused in formulating Regularisation policy for over 60,000 casual workers in the state.
While submitting his resignation to Prof Soz Sham Lal Sharma had claimed that he was forced to hand over the resignation to his party leader because Chief Minister was not present in the state.
Ever since Chief Minister has returned and campaigning in Srinagar there has been no word on the factual status of resignation leter.
It is not clear whether Prof Soz has forwarded Sham Lal Sharma’s resignation to Chief Minister or has managed to pacify him to withdraw his resignation.
Accusing the National Conference Ministers of deliberately delaying the regularisation policy Sham Lal Sharma had also claimed NC ministers resorted to black mail tactics and pressurised him to accommodate candidates of their choice in the list in lieu of giving final nod to the Regularisation policy for casual workers in the state.
