Minister for Planning and Development, Labour and Employment, Ajay Sadhotra today said that National Conference(NC) will once again emerge victorious in 2014 J&K state assembly elections under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah thus further continuing its efforts of steering the state towards progress and prosperity.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that yesterday he visited several border villages in block Marh and took stock of situation arisen due to shelling by Pakistan. The state government has also prepared a comprehensive contingency plan to cope up with the situation, he added.
He further said that people living close to IB and LoC are facing severe difficulties and it is prime responsibility of the government to protect these people. He said that that Union Home Minister and Chief Minister also visited the border areas and took stock of situation so that early rehabilitation measures would be ensured.
He said that Coalition Government, headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, is committed to channelize the energy of youth towards right direction for equitable and speedy development of the state.
The Minister cautioned the people against the political groups, which are bent upon to divide the people on religious, caste and regional lines and appealed them to supplement govt’s efforts of ensuring overall growth of the State.
