Even as talks between the PDP and BJP over the issue of govt formation have reached advance stage PDP spokesman Naeem Akhtar saturday clearly hinted there are still some issues left which need more effort and time before they are resolved.
He clarified there is no meeting planned between Mufti Mohd Sayeed and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as yet.
He said the two parties are engaged in the process of hammering out a agenda of governance for the most sensitive state of J&K.
Without pinpointing towards any of the contentious issues such as status quo on Article 370 and repeal of AFSPA Akhtar told reporters outside the residence of Mufti Mohd Sayeed the negotiations have gone in to the next level. It is a matter of governing the state by two different parties for next six years. We are trying to make best out of the split verdict.
