Minister slapped officer, Police shying away to book an FIR

 

In a shocking incident, Thursday, Minister of State for Home Affairs Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo  slapped senior government officer at Tourist Receipt Centre (TRC) Kishtwar ahead of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s visit to the area. CEO KDA has filed a complaint ,the copy is available here-Untitled-1

But the bigger issue arise here is-

HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO BOOK AN FIR IN THIS CASE. If, CEO HAS FILED A COMPLAINT WHY IS POLICE NOT REGISTERING AN FIR??

The officer was reportedly slapped thrice by the Minister in the presence of several other senior officers of the state police and others.

According to Chief Executive Office (CEO) Kishtwar Development Authority Riaz Ahmed Choudhary, the incident took place when he arrived at the TRC centre where MOS Home was present and taking stock of the arrangements”.

He said when he arrived at the TRC, the Minister asked him, “aap apne ko kya samajhte ho”. He said, before I could respond the Minister started slapping me. When he slapped me for the third time I asked him, what the hell your are doing”, Why are you slapping me.  Riaz claimed Minister also started shouting ‘arrest this man’ and then his security personnel and others present there thrashed me as well.
