Meerut based devotee delivers boy in the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi

Raised question marks on the working of the numerous check points set up by the shrine board.

A devotee of Mata Vaishno Devi, 35 year old Raj Bala  hailing from Meerut sunday afternoon climbed the 13 km trek with great difficulty. While she was standing in the queue to perform darshan she experienced labour pain and before doctors from the nearby dispensary were rushed to the spot women standing in the queue helped her deliver a healthy boy near gate no 3 in the bhawan shrine.

Raj Bala who was keen on offering prayers inside the cave shrine could not pay a visit as she was shifted to a near by health centre.

The presence of pregnant woman among the devotees has also raised question marks on the working of the numerous check points set up by the shrine board.

Undertaking arduous yatra for a pregnant woman is harmful.

According to police Raj Bala wife of Survesh Kumar, resident of Meerut is mother of two girls and arrived here to offer prayers.

In her brief statement Raj Bala said Mata Vaishno devi has blessed her as she delivered a boy in the holy cave shrine.

After the delivery the doctors shifted the mother and the newly born child to a near by dispensary and later they discharged them in the evening.
