Indian dental association(IDA) Jammu branch has extended its support to Dental Surgeons Association- Jammu and Kashmir (DSA-JK). DSA has met minister of Health and Medical education as well as other concerned authorities in regard to non referal of posts of Dental Surgeons to state PSC.
The association has requested the Govt. to take their demands under consideration and take necessary action as soon as possible to resolve the grave situation which the dental surgeons of Jammu and Kashmir are going through.
President of DSA-JK Asif Iqbal Chowdhary said that more than 350 BDS are coming to our state per year, but there is no Govt. policy for job of these dental surgeons. This is giving rise to unemployment among dental surgeon. This noble profession has become hell for our dental surgeons.
Dr. Ritesh Gupta president IDA said that govt should look into the matter and create jobs for the unemployed Dental Surgeons. He said that easy finance facilities shall be provided for those who want to open their own clinic. He said that they have extended support to Dental Surgeons Association and are with them in their genuine demands.
