Indian Army returned Pakistani soldier’s body

The Indian Army returned the dead body of Pakistani soldier, who was killed in a firefight after he had crossed the Line of Control in the Nowshera sub-sector, with ‘military respects’ on Friday evening.
Defence Spokesperson said that Indian troops at Laam post in Rajouri sector observed suspicious movement along the Indian side of LC. On being challenged by a patrol party, the infiltrator opened indiscriminate fire injuring two Jawans.In the ensuing encounter the infiltrator was killed and one AK-56 rifle along with some other warlike stores recovered. The body of the deceased was later handed over to the J&K Police
