Ghulam Nabi Azad filed his nomination papers for Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat

Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Former J&K CM Ghulam Nabi Azad today filed his nomination papers for Udhampur-Doda parliamentary constituency.

Mr Azad, accompanied by the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, JKPCC Chief Saif-ud-Din Soz and other senior leaders from Congress and National Conference filed his nomination papers.

BJP candidate Jitendra Singh, JKNPP candidate Bhim Singh and others had already filed their nominations for Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat.

Scrutiny of nominations for Udhampur parliamentary Constituency will be held on March 27 while last date for withdrawal of nominations is March 29. Voting will be held on April 17.

Meanwhile, Omar Abdullah posted photographs on a social network of supporters who accompanied Azad during the filing of papers.
