Fidayeen Attack victim given tearful adieu in RS Pura

Sardar Tarsem Singh, killed by a group of fidayeen in Janglote area of Kathua on Friday before attacking the rear gate of the army Sardar Tarsem Singh-Bolero used in Kathua-Hiranagar-Dayalachak-Jammucamp was cremated in his native village and given tearful adieu by his close family members and thousands of local villagers in RS Pura area.

Tarsem Singh was one of the five occupants of the ill fated Bolero hijacked by the fidayeen from near Dayalachak on Friday.Tarsem Singh who may have drove fidayeen up to Janglote was found dead with his hands tied down near Langate Industrial area. 

Tarsems’ body was handed over to the family in the morning and later he was given tearful adieu in his native village. His wife Gurdeep Kaur and children stood by his dead body and wept in inconsolably as close relatives made preparations for the final journey.Large number of prominent citizens of the area and local politicians from different political parties attended the final journey and consoled the family.
