JKCA President Farooq Abdullah disagrees to his son Omar’s views, says sports and politicians are inseparable
“The day you take politics out of sport, there will be no sport,” he said.
“Sports should be administered by sports people, lets leave politics to the politicians” Omar had said recently.

He also added that betting must be made legal, otherwise it would continue. “If betting is legal elsewhere why shouldn`t it be legalised in India as well,” the Jammu Kashmir Cricket association(JKCA) President and Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy told reporters on the sidelines of an event in Ganderbal.
