DADAA staged Dogri Nukkad Natak ‘Mithiyaan Takoraan’ in Udhampur

Accused sitting MPs for not doing much for the Dogri language

Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association (DADAA) on Sunday staged Dogri Nukkad Natak ‘Mithiyaan Takoraan’ at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park and Devika Ghat in Udhampur.

Through the street play the members of DADAA beautifully highlighted the importance of Dogri language and also expressed their serious concern towards  this beautiful language which has lost its value in the recent years. The artists through the play demanded that Dogri, Gojri, Pahari, Poonchi, Mirpuri, Bhadharwahi, Kishtwari are spoken in Jammu region and if the Duggar Channel started it would contribute a lot in promoting al these languages and the diverse culture of the religion.

Through play they also paid tributes to the soldiers protecting our borders.

DADAA also accused both sitting Congress MPs for befooling them, they said that MPs didnt even entertain their plea. It was Dogra Sadar Sabha president Gulchain Singh Charak who assured them of taking this fight to Delhi.
 
Large number of people witnessed the street play and appreciated the effort of DADAA.
