While chairing a meeting of the District Development Board in Jammu Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Monday informed the participants that the restoration of Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex and beautification of Raghunath Bazar are going on apace. “I have provided ₹ 50 lakh last year for the beautification of Raghunath Bazar and same amount would be provided this year”, he said adding that additional amount to complete this project would be earmarked as per its requirement. Museum of Geology Inside Heritage College is More than a Hidden Treasure Trove

The Museum of Geology, housed in an archaic building of the erstwhile Prince of Wales College rechristened as Government Gandhi Memorial(GGM) Science College in Jammu, is considered the Mecca of Geology sciences by students and scholars.
