A day after the state health department suspended registration of a private hospital JK Medicity there were no takers for the private hospital. The patients after receiving treatment in the hospital were asked to vacate the premises on Monday morning soon after the senior officials  of the health department served them the notice to stop treating patients in the wake of suspension of registration notice. The footfall of fresh patients has already declined since Saturday morning after victimised patient and her family staged massive protests against the hospital authorities. Despite according top priority to the newly launched rail link to Katra  it appears the field engineers remained casual when it came to addressing the basic requirements of a VIP train ferrying pilgrims to the base camp of holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. On Wednesday when Shri Shakti Express was stuck inside tunnel no 27  the railway engineers realised their folly of not attaching a ‘banker’ engine to power the fully AC train on the hilly track.
