AIIMS Coordination Committee (ACC), which has been spearheading ongoing movement for the setting up of AIIMS in Jammu, Friday discussed threadbare the situation arising out in the wake of the failure of the BJP to deliver its promise within the agreed upon period and resolved that the entire Jammu region will observe complete three day shut down between July 31 and August 2.

The party which got such a massive mandate from Jammu region, could have averted the path that left the AIIMS CC with no option but intensify its agitation. They are responsible for putting us on a road to full-fledged and result oriented agitation, Sharma said and added that today’s meeting is a decisive one with all the constituents of the committee speaking in one voice and resolving to defend and promote further the cause of the discriminated against people of the Jammu region .

“These elected MLAs will surely face the wrath of the people as they have fallen from the grace and betrayed the entire population of the region”, he added. Sharma appealed to the people from all walks of life to make the declared Lalkar (protest) Rally, three-day bandh and the candle light protest march a success.
