A Veteran Soldier of World War I, II discharged from Millitary hospital hale and hearty

A Centurion veteran soldier who had participated in both the world wars I and II  walked out of the Military hospital, Satwari after receiving treatment on Thursday.

Identified as Havildar (retired) Mohi-ud-Din the veteran solider was admitted in the hospital for medical treatment few days ago.

The soldier, responded to the treatment and walked out on his own after he was discharged.

According to Brig MM Harjai, Commandant Military Hospital, the veteran solider  has rendered his valuable service to the nation while serving with 7 JAK Rifles and seen both world wars and all the four wars post independence during his tenure in the Army.         

Brig MM Harjai, Commandant, Military Hospital who took personal interest and monitored the full treatment from the day one said the ex-serviceman was still ambulant and recalls most of the major events of his life till now.  

After, getting his full treatment to become fit except age related health issues, he walked freely on getting discharged from the hospital to his home, the commandant said.
